Notice a lack of new pictures? Well, that's because the monitor hooked up to the computer hooked to the scanner blew its vertical sync diode and no-one around here seems to know how to fix it. "Get a new one." Everyone says. Yeah, right! One of these days I'll swap my Linux box's Trinitron and scan a bunch... hang in there.William and Nicholas are back in school so things are quiet around the house for a few hours every morning. Amanda uses the quiet time to take a nap.
Jim is still on summer brake. He recently re-did the Okayama Institute of Languages' home page. He's also been working on Dynamic HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and Netscape 4 tags in his den. University jobs start in a couple of weeks so he's also going to redo much of his web-based textbook.
Yumi complains a lot about being tired but I guess that's normal for any mother of three. She's teaching three mornings a week and trying to keep up with PTA work. busy - busy - busy!
